Russell leads on Architecture & Planning at MIME. Having started his career in London working on large projects such as Crossrail and the Berlin Stock Exchange, he moved to Cornwall and worked on hotels and private houses. After a short spell overseas as a site foreman & project manager, he moved to Somerset where he has worked on schools, social housing, conservation projects and private houses before starting MIME. He enjoys road cycling – tackling Somerset or Spain.
Jade
Architectural Assistant

Joining the team in 2018 after qualifying from UWE with an extended degree in Architecture and Planning. Jade’s research was focussed on residential and co-housing projects. She has rapidly become our Building Information Modelling expert, transforming incoming 3D laser scans into three dimensional buildings that our clients can use for virtual walk throughs. Aside from her technical skills, she has a black belt in Karate.
Katy
Office Administrator
DipCOT
Katy keeps order in the office, which is no mean feat. Fortuitously she trained as an Occupational Therapist so has experience surrounding accessibility issues and practical adaptations. When not managing the office or running family life, Katy will be found reading house and interior design magazines or putting her creativity into practice – sewing or helping re-design homes. Her favourite place to be is walking in the Lake District, no matter what the weather!

Architect/Technologist
RIBA / CIAT
We are currently looking for a qualified Architect, Technologist or Part III Architecture Student to join our growing team. Applicants will need to evidence their ability to take projects from concept to completion. Other aspects that would be beneficial are demonstrable skills in BIM (ArchiCAD), environmental design and/or conservation. The job would be full time and based in Taunton. Current projects extend from Oxfordshire to Devon, so a full driving licence is essential.
We assess each client brief afresh, and necessary specialists are brought together to undertake assessments and make recommendations that inform the design process. Working with our consultants and their wide ranging backgrounds, we bring collective experience and interdisciplinary thinking to your project.
